Mr. Islam is graduated from Dhaka University in 1993 and he developed himself as an SME by undergoing several professional security management courses at home and abroad. Mentionable  Completed a short course from IBA, the University of Dhaka in Competitive Business Strategy & Innovation in 2019, Completed Training from The SMA (The Security Management Academy) UK the courses on Terrorist Threats, Crisis and Continuity Management and Investigation, Fraud and Loss Prevention Management in 2016, Completed training on security management Part-1 from ARC UK under Middlesex University from  Mr. David Creswell CPP, PSP in 2006.  He also Served Bangladesh Army for 1 year 6 months as an Offer Cadet with the 26^th BMA Long Course from 10^th July 1990 to 31^st Dec. 1991. He has also enrolled in the Executive MBA  program Jointly offered  IIT Bombay &  & Washington University in St. Louis.
