Security Guard

A security guard protects clients and their properties and assets against potential threats, such as theft, vandalism, trespassing or security breaches. They walk the perimeter of a facility, monitor alarms and security cameras and ensure windows and doors are secure. Security guards control access to a property by securing entrances to areas such as ports and factories. Other duties include conducting vehicle searches at entrance points and detaining violators when necessary.
